I am Ian. I graduated from Millbrook High School in 2023 and took all the math courses available to me. I have been interested in math since I was in elementary school and have only gotten more interested as time went on. I see all forms of information as a point in the infinitely precise branching subjects of mathematics and believe that anyone can get anywhere on that branch as long as they work their way through the branches before it. In the years since I've graduated, I've spent my free time doing math research, with my two notable works being a new proof of a factorial approximation and the discovery of a fractal through tetration in the complex plane.
I currently work in parks & rec, spending my days outdoors and providing service to the people and to the land. I love what I do, but I love math more. There is nothing more beautiful than nature and there is nothing more natural than numbers. My experience in tutoring is limited to helping my friends with exams, but I am passionate about math and will do whatever I can to get someone to have that moment of understanding when everything clicks into place. Nobody is "too dumb" to learn even the most complicated of subjects, it just takes time and the right roadmap.
