Hi! I'm Caden. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Enloe High School and attained an International Baccalaureate degree. I now attend American University in Washington DC with a major in International Studies and a minor in Political Science.

No matter the course, a teacher makes or breaks the experience with the content. Even with my favorite subjects, a bad teacher or professor can absolutely change how a student perceives the subject. I know that when I was in elementary school, it took supportive teachers who put in extra effort to get me from someone who refused to read a ten-page book, to someone who won awards for writing. That is why having a teacher who is willing to put in the time and energy to get the student to engage with the course and really learn to love it is so important. I will shape the content to the student, and set up plans lessons tailored for the student in order to get them to connect on a deeper level than they might receive in a normal classroom setting.

I am new to professional tutoring, but I have tutored for my high school for SAT and AP subjects, and for family and family friends since ten years old when needed. I have always been a patient teacher who wants to allow the student to figure it out for themselves without telling them the answers, building problem-solving and critical thinking skills along with learning the subject. It is important to me that students gain as much as possible from each session, so I welcome additional suggestions or resources from students and parents.

I am easy to reach and should always reply fast, and I am very flexible with my scheduling. I am also comfortable doing lessons in person or online, as the student and parents request. Feel free to contact me with any questions or for any additional information!
