Hello! My name is Malkaan, and I hold an Associate in Engineering from Wake Technical Community College. Currently, I am a junior at North Carolina State University, pursuing a degree in Computer Science. While I’ve chosen this path, my passion for mathematics remains unwavering. Math, to me, is a universal language that I am eager to share with others, helping them learn and enjoy it as much as I do.
I've been tutoring math since high school, where I often helped younger students due to my advanced coursework. My academic journey has taken me through Precalculus, Calculus I-III, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, and Statistics—all of which I completed with A’s. Along the way, I’ve gained a wealth of experience working with students of all ages, from preschoolers to high schoolers, across a wide range of topics, from basic arithmetic to advanced calculus.
For nearly two years, I’ve been a math instructor at Mathnasium, where I typically tutor up to three students simultaneously, honing my multitasking skills. I also conduct private one-on-one sessions, ensuring personalized attention for each learner. What sets me apart is my ability to recognize each student’s unique learning style—whether visual, graphical, or calculative—and adapt my approach to best meet their needs and abilities. Helping others unlock the beauty of math is both a privilege and a joy!
