I graduated from Fairmont High School in 1998 and later attended the University of North Carolina at Pembroke where I graduated with a B. A. in Computer Graphics and a minor in drawing in December of 2002. Since then I have worked mainly in merchandising/sales and other odd jobs but none of which utilized my education or my passions.

Coming here to WyzAnt seems like a nice place for me to connect with others that I could mentor and pass on my years of studying, but it's also a way for me to see if teaching might be a career path to consider. If anything it would be nice to help others that are struggling with a subject they could probably be doing really well at but just haven't anyone take the time to explain it. I know what that's like because I was there once and just needed a little explaining/tutoring to open up my understanding. Besides that which you are struggling with now might actually turn into something which you excel and are gifted at later on.
I am qualified I think to teach this because I have had a passion for reading since I was a child. That passion has, in turn, grown into a passion for writing. In fact, it is my desire to become a professional writer and I have put time not only in trying to improve my skills through writing stories but in studying the craft.
Both my passion and my studying of the craft has given me skills that I can use to help others I believe. Whether it's gaining an appreciation for what others have created. or in guiding someone to express themselves in words/stories, I think that my years of immersing myself into both of these can help those who are struggling with it for whatever reason.
I read a lot, and I write a lot. In doing both I've both gained an exceptional ability to spell or improve through trial and error. We all come across those words (especially if you're a native English speaker) where you misspell or use the incorrect version of those words
