I am a cum laude Computer Science graduate from Fayetteville State University with a 3.6 GPA. I tutor beginner and early-level learners in Computer Science, web design, programming fundamentals, Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, SQL, GitHub, debugging, and project planning. My strongest fit is working with learners who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to apply what they have learned on their own.
My tutoring style is structured, patient, and project-based. I like to help learners understand what the code is doing, where the issue is happening, and how to fix problems one step at a time. For web design learners, I can help with building pages, organizing content, understanding HTML/CSS/JavaScript, connecting a domain or hosting setup, and turning ideas into a realistic project plan. For programming learners, I focus on logic, debugging, assignment breakdown, and helping them become more independent problem-solvers.
My lessons are online only and may include video, screen sharing, voice, or text-based conversation depending on what works best for the learner and the type of support needed. Text-based support can be especially useful for reviewing instructions, walking through code, explaining error messages, and giving step-by-step guidance.
I do not simply complete assignments or projects for learners. Instead, I guide them through the thinking process so they understand the work and can apply the same skills again. I work well with middle school learners, high school learners, adult beginners, independent learners, career changers, nervous beginners, and anyone who needs extra support staying organized, practicing consistently, and building confidence in Computer Science.
