Highly Qualified Licensed Reading Specialist for At-Risk Children

I am a licensed reading teacher and recently earned my Ed.S. degree in Early Literacy and Reading from Nova Southeastern University. I began my teaching career in 1999 as a Kindergarten teacher in Southern California. Throughout the years, I've taught 4th, 5th, and 6th-grade language arts, social studies, and K-5 technology classes.
Since I began teaching, I have also tutored children and students in reading from preschool through 5th-grade, including at my own tutoring business. The majority of my experience is helping at-risk students and students with ADD, ADHD, and Learning Disabilities improve their reading skills increase their reading and language arts scores.
I've taught all of my reading students how to read and have helped students who were struggling with reading and language arts reach grade-level success or beyond in order to pass their state exams.
I love teaching reading and language arts, as it is very rewarding to see my students achieve success in their reading skills.
My goal has always been to help my students succeed and my joy is to see them achieve success.
