Bio

I am fully bilingual, being fluent in English and Spanish. I have been living in the US for more than 20 years. I have taught college-level chemistry classes in English for many years. I've tutored at all school and college levels since I was in high school.

I received a Master's and PhD in chemistry from US-accredited universities (the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, respectively). I have taught and tutored chemistry for over 15 years...

I received a Master's and PhD in chemistry from US-accredited universities (the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, respectively). I have taught and tutored chemistry for over 15 years at the university level (since I was an undergraduate student). I can tutor almost any chemistry: organic, general, introductory, etc. I can also tutor algebra I and II and Spanish. Please, check my profile for other subjects I am qualified to tutor.

I was born in Argentina, so my mother tongue is Spanish. There are not many Spanish tutors who can give you the advantage of a true Spanish speaker. I have been in the US since 1995, so you should not have any problem understanding my English.

As a former professor of chemistry, I can provide my students with the unique feedback and insight that comes from the instructor side. How many other tutors can do that? I know what is important to know and what is not. I will not waste your time by endlessly hammering on topics that are not important. I will give you the 'short version' of every topic to help you understand the basics. I will teach you problem-solving skills by reasoning. I will help you understand the topics that are crucial to your grade and your understanding of future topics.

We have come to know this gentleman who has tutored our daughter to be a kind, considerate and knowledgeable man who really knows his fields of science but who is also kind careful and considerate. He has been responsive when schedules did not seem convenient and he has been polite and understanding at all times.
