Hello! My name is Dana. I am a graduate of the esteemed University of Miami School of Music. I have been
performing and teaching music for more than 30 years. I teach guitar, bass(upright and/or electric), music theory or piano. Any style of music!
I currently live in the Winston-Salem, NC area(between Raleigh and Charlotte), but I offer virtual lessons to anyone, anywhere in the world. In person lesson at my studio are also available. I enjoy teaching one on one, but I can also...

performing and teaching music for more than 30 years. I teach guitar, bass(upright and/or electric), music theory or piano. Any style of music!
I currently live in the Winston-Salem, NC area(between Raleigh and Charlotte), but I offer virtual lessons to anyone, anywhere in the world. In person lesson at my studio are also available. I enjoy teaching one on one, but I can also teaching siblings as a group. Any age group is welcome!
Some of my students have gone on to perform in Allstate Jazz Band, Allstate Orchestra, attend music college, perform professionally and even work in well known music recoding studios.

I have 30+ Years of experience teaching music!! Some of my music students have started their own bands, performed in high school and college ensembles, Middle and High School All State Jazz Band AND Orchestra, graduated from college with degrees in music and worked in major recording studios.

Helped My Daughter Thrive in Jazz Band

Dana has been fantastic. My daughter had just joined her high school jazz band and needed help quickly understanding complicated jazz chords, rhythms, and how to actually make it through the pieces confidently. Dana understood exactly what she needed, balancing practical help for the music she is playing now with the fundamentals she needs to keep improving. He is thoughtful, encouraging, very knowledgeable, and has helped my daughter make progress incredibly quickly. We are very happy we found him!
