I was educated at High Point University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in Studio Art. I also did graduate studies at High Point University to earn credits to be able to teach and become a certified art educator.
Inspiring students is key to their success. Helping them to learn how to develop a deeper creative process and to work through the design process in order to develop a new idea is also of significant importance.
As a practicing artist, painting and mixed media is what I work on in my own studio. I have shown art at SECCA in Winston Salem, NC and Theater Art Galleries in High Point, NC multiple times. I have had great success selling my work through social media platforms as well and have a good understanding and knowledge to help students market their own art work in such ways.
