I fell in love with teaching chemistry in 2015 when I began tutoring organic chemistry. This passion ultimately led me to receive my B.S. in Chemistry from James Madison University in 2017 and my Ph.D. in Chemistry from Clemson University in 2022. I then went on to post-doc with the Air Force Research Lab.

I currently serve as an Assistant Professor, teaching general and organic chemistry, and leading a group of incredible research students on a project devoted to making bio-derived adsorbents for environmental remediation.
