Bio

My most recent teaching experience includes working as a middle school math teacher for the NC public school system. During my teaching assignment for the 2022-2023 school year I taught the advanced 8th grade students who took the NC Math 1(high school level math) assessment at the end of the year with a 100% pass rate.

I have taught Math 1 (Algebra 1) in the NC Public School System. 100 % of my eighth-grade students passed the EOG on the first attempt. I have also tutored Algebra online.

I grew up studying the Bible as a child. Later as I was working in churches playing piano and leading choirs, I became involved in children and youth ministry. In 2001, I received an Associate of Theology Degree from Slidell Baptist Seminary. I regularly teach at church and have taught at three Christian Schools.

I have taught private piano lessons to children and adults for 30 years. My students love their lessons and consistently score honors and win piano competitions. I had one student perform in Carnagie Hall in NY after becoming a finalist in an international piano competition. I received a full scholarship to study piano at the NC School of the Arts after high school.
