I am employed as a Police Officer and have been employed in this capacity for 15 years. I attended Junior College and obtained my Associates Degree in Criminal Justice and immediately went into Law Enforcement. I have since obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Pschology and am currently enrolled in courses to obtain my Master's Degree in Teaching. I have an extended amount of knowledge about the Criminal Justice field, not only through College coursework, but through over 1200 hours of training throughout my career. On the job training has also aided in the formation of experience within the Criminal Justice system. This experience, alongside College Coursework and degrees, has allowed me to understand the modalities of crime, psychological aspects of criminals, and operational formalities of Criminal Justice agencies, as well as understanding the individual psychological nature of those involved within the Criminal Justice system.
I feel that these attributes will allow me to provide the student with the highest level of tutoring made available to them. I understand that individuals learn through different learning styles and I attempt to incorporate that within my teaching. Understanding this helps to improve the students ability to learn from the material presented as well as retain that information for individual purposes. My methods of teaching include visual references, written documents, knowledge tests, as well as one on one question and answer sessions.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have played baseball since I was a child and have coached a softball team since entering adulthood. I have also taught my children baseball fundamentals and continue to help them develop their skills.
