It consisted of five problems a day Monday through Thursday. On Fridays we tested the skills that were reviewed all week. Utilizing this method we boosted our test scores to almost 86% success rate in our eight 3rd grade classes.
I was also trained by TOPS (Technically Outreach for Public Schools) in Raleigh, NC to write test items for the NC EOG tests. I have had several item writing contracts over the years. The latest contract was completed in January of this year. school for more than 30 years and have tutored almost 15!
I have tutored mostly math throughout my career. Last year I partnered with the county and worked part time as a math tutor with struggling 3rd- 5th graders. This was paid by the COVID ESSERS fund.
