I was homeschooled from kindergarten through 8th grade before attending and graduating from public high school, community college, and university. In addition to my teaching experience, I enjoy volunteering for VBS each summer and I have experience working as a kindergarten teacher’s assistant, substitute teacher (elementary, middle school and high school), elementary reading teacher’s assistant / reading tutor, paralegal, and private academic tutor and music lesson teacher. I was honored to be a 2018 top twenty finalist in the 14th Annual Mountain Soul Vocal Competition in Sevierville, Tennessee.

I have experience working with a wide range of learners on multiple academic levels and in multiple subject areas. I have always had a desire to help others. I want to help students achieve their goals and be successful by providing individualized instruction and practice based on their individual strengths and needs.
