I have been teaching since 2004. I have presented at numerous national conferences as well as served as the chapter president of my local AAPC chapter. I teach several specialties as well as a prep course to prepare coders to sit for a national exam. I enjoy preparing students to become successful in their path as a medical coding specialist. I enjoy what I do and find it rewarding to share my skill set with others. I also advocate with Autism Speaks.

My favorite specialties are Cardiology and Obstetrics and Gynecology. It is exciting to see medicine advance and rewarding to know that we play a part in the financial health of patients.
