Reading for fun is great, but it takes on another level and more growth when you understand what you read. Patient, encouraging teaching style tailored to individual needs of my scholars. Breaking down concepts clearly to reinforce skills through practice and enhancing the lives of every scholar as they begin to enjoy reading confidently.
Spelling

Spelling

When it comes to literacy, and the writing rope intertwines with many parts that plays into reading, writing, spelling, and vocabulary. I enjoy writing, but what really captures my attention the most is spelling new words, and discovering new words in the dictionary. The more you read the more you learn, the more you learn the more you stimulate your brain. Spelling is essential to reading and writing properly. Supporting scholars in spelling for some time. I am 53, I think all scholars can overcome battles in reading, and spelling.
Vocabulary

Vocabulary

When it comes to literacy you have to consider that reading, writing, spelling, and vocabulary all go hand in hand. Knowing and understanding new vocabulary words, and how to use them makes it easier to read and write. There are many words in the English language that are spelled almost identically and there are many ways to use them and for example: the words are too, two, and to, where and wear, there, they're, and their, and tear, tear and tare. One word says " Tear in my eye, there there tear the paper up, and tare is the word that deals with a scale and weight of a package and containers. These are fun words that sounds alike, and it is sometimes to know when to use them. Learning new Vocabulary words can be fun, and its a a valuable part of reading literacy.
