Welcome! I’m glad you found me, and I’m excited to learn together! I’m a writer and librarian with a decade of experience teaching English and Spanish in small groups and one-on-one sessions. I began tutoring all middle and high school subjects in high school and continued tutoring and teaching Spanish as I studied at Kenyon College. I then focused on a degree in library science and developed personal writing projects as I began a career in academic libraries. Now I’m here to help you achieve your goals in an enthusiastic, cooperative, and judgement-free setting.
I am a lifelong grammar nerd and love everything related to writing and language. While at Kenyon, I taught hour-long courses of introductory Spanish for two years and then was promoted to the intermediate level. I also assisted in grammar comprehension, sentence formation, and essay writing for all levels of Spanish through a professor-recommended tutoring network. I have an extensive background in film and literature, find great fulfillment in both fiction and non-fiction, and, when not facilitating access to educational resources through interlibrary loan, I am a screenwriter novelist poet at heart.
