Hello! :) My passion lies in the sciences and the world around us!
I hold my NC Teaching license and have been teaching high school science for over 7 years; and, I have been tutoring high school/college sciences courses for over 15 years! Hello! :) My passion lies in the sciences and the world around us!
I hold my NC Teaching license and have been teaching high school science for over 7 years; and, I have been tutoring high school/college sciences courses for over 15 years! I am highly qualified to teach Physical Science, Physics, Earth & Environmental Science including APES and Biology! I have my BS in Marine Biology; my master's is a MAT in Secondary Science Education; and I hold my National Board Certification for teaching adults and young adults science!

I earned my bachelor's degree in Marine Biology as I traveled our great country roaming from California to Texas to New England to Hawai'i. I was also able to do some field work as a marine biologist in the British Virgin Islands. After tutoring for many years, I discovered I also have a passion for igniting the love of learning, so I returned to school and earned my master's degree - MAT in Secondary Science Education - at UNCW. I am currently teaching science in NC public high school. As a science teacher I realize it is important to continue to hone my teaching skills, so I recently set my mind to earning my National Boards for Professional Teaching Standards. I am now a National Board Certified teacher for adolescent and young adults in the area of science.
