Since getting my B.A. and M.A. in English, I've taught for the Institute of Reading Development, substitute taught English in junior high and high school, copy edited several successful fantasy novels, privately tutored high school and college students in English, taught English 9, English 9 Honors, and English 10 at a private high school in California, served as a member of the Cal Poly SLO English Department Advisory Board, taught ESL in South Korea and Costa Rica, tutored countless high school and college students in ACT, SAT, GRE, and GMAT test prep, and led the English department for one of Central America's most prestigious learning and prep centers.

Because of my wide array of teaching experiences, I've learned how to make learning easy and fun for all types of students. Whether you're shy, outgoing, a natural grammarian, or don't know the difference between an adjective and an adverb, I can promise that you'll leave our tutoring sessions feeling enlightened, encouraged, and much more prepared to ace that test.
