I bring over 30 years of experience teaching a wide range of disciplines, including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, graphic design, collage, stage design, and art history. Additionally, I have over 18 years of experience teaching and preaching the Bible and have been a public speaker for over 35 years. I have excellent research skills that I use to help students know, understand, and engage with the subject matter.

My academic background includes a Master of Arts in Religion with a Specialization in Pastoral Counseling, a Bachelor of Arts in Art Education, and an Associate of Fine Arts. I am an ordained minister. As a lifelong learner, I am dedicated to assisting students in clarifying their goals, developing a plan of attack, and implementing strategies to achieve and excel at their goals.

This process begins in the initial intake session, where I identify the student’s goals for the tutoring and map out a plan to accomplish those goals.

Whether the focus is public speaking, Biblical studies, or the Visual Arts, I believe each student can achieve their learning potential with the help of knowledgeable and compassionate guidance.

Throughout my career, I have guided students to acquire knowledge in a variety of fields. A natural problem solver with both creative and analytical abilities, I help students think beyond the limitations they may have set for themselves.

In the Visual Arts, I specialize in drawing and painting, often using a grid technique with graphite or oil paint as the primary mediums. I understand color theory and enjoy art history.

For public speaking, I focus on articulation, clarity of thought, voice projection, confidence, poise, and being relaxed in front of a group.

In Bible studies, I use hermeneutics to approach the text from a historical and grammatical context, seeking appropriate interpretation and application.

I will encourage students to do their best and help them feel comfortable with the material, technique, or research method that best facilitates
