ADHD

I have several years of of Applied Behavior Analysis and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy within the mental health, inpatient, education (schools at multiple levels), residential and day habilitation programs, at-home instruction, parent training, etc. And also, being someone with ADHD myself, I understand and have overcome to a degree where I am not able able to focus but multitask equally well.

Bible Studies

Head Sabbath School Ministry (Youth) for 8+ years emphasizing the foundational biblical tenets of commitment to God’s commandments, fellowship development, Bible study, and commitment to others in becoming closer to God through the Son, Jesus Christ. In addition, I taught youth biblical principles for a solid foundation in relationship with Christ, and provided opportunity for fellowship through Bible study and discussion. Furthermore, I required research based assignments about biblical characters and certain vices mentioned in the Bible for presentation to class and later, the congregation, which improved spiritual experience through practical, daily life experiences of each individual youths in order to develop and increase spiritual growth and understanding of God’s love.

Criminal Justice

My MS is in Criminal Justice (Behavior Analysis Specialization).

Elementary (K-6th)

Plain and simple... been there done that years ago, so I know the drill and keep updated through my many school aged nieces and nephews.

Grammar

Grammatical errors annoy me; I try my best to write as correctly as possible. It helped me growing up as I am half the product of an Educator as well :-)

Proofreading

I love reading people's reports, papers, documents, etc. because I have a tendency to always want to correct any grammatical or spelling errors.

Psychology

BA in Psychology; MA Organizational Management; MS Criminal Justice (Behavior Analysis Specialization). Been there, done that. Also familiar with the online learning forum.

Public Speaking

As a recently doctoral graduate, I definitely needed to be able to do this. But not only that, I've been providing training to church congregations, staff, and students for much of my career as well as teaching in person and online. As the elected "acting" President, and then official President of Psi Chi, the National Honor Society in Psychology, Pace Chapter, I attended many Psych conferences including ones held at Pace where I would have to be the voice and advocate of our society in front of the Deans, Heads of Dept., Professors, Parents, Onlookers, and Peers alike. I was also elected Junior Representative in the Student Government while at Pace U. Completed and aced the mandatory speech classes also.

Spelling

Two times spelling bee champ in elementary & junior H.S. Spelling mistakes still annoy me to this day.

Vocabulary

As the daughter of an Educator, speaking well was paramount; I continued to increase my vocabulary voluntarily.
