First and foremost, I've tutored with Wyzant before, about 12 years ago from 2013-2015. At that time I had already acquired 2 Masters degrees (Organizational Mgmnt & Criminal Justice- Behavior Analysis concentration) and BA in Psychology. In the years prior my career was spent working with Children and Families as a Child Protective Specialist, Family Team Conference Facilitator (Foster Care & Adoption), and had worked for AmeriCorps while in undergrad as a College Counselor/Tutor preparing...

First and foremost, I've tutored with Wyzant before, about 12 years ago from 2013-2015. As the elected "acting" President, and then official President of Psi Chi, the National Honor Society in Psychology, Pace Chapter, I attended many Psych conferences including ones held at Pace where I would have to be the voice and advocate of our society in front of the Deans, Heads of Dept., Professors, Parents, Onlookers, and Peers alike. I was also elected Junior Representative in the Student Government while at Pace U. Completed and aced the mandatory speech classes also.

Happy with Dedra

Dedra was very nice and pleasant to speak with. She knew what she was doing and knew how to handle my son. She works within the education system so she knows how to handle and teach kids that need the extra help. She managed to keep my son focused and teach him in a way he understands. She was firm, but not nasty and was able to redirect without yelling or getting annoyed. So far so good!
