Hello, my name is Jazmyn O. and I have been teaching English for three years now. I have had the pleasure of working with Elementary, Middle and High school students in a public charter school setting. I have been working with the middle school age group for the last two years through an afterschool program called 21st Century Community Learning Center also known as Purpose Over Power. This program was launched at the school I am currently working at and I have been able to gain experience with working with this age group and has been a very powerful learning experience.
I have a degree in Mass Communications from Winston Salem State University. I am seeking to further my career that will allow me to continue working with various students and educators. As well as, increase my individual strengths and instructional techniques to adapt new concepts and learning styles. I am patient, enthusiastic and diligent. These traits are important to me because I am confident that with this educational opportunity, I can continue to be the best educator to our future.
I am coachable and respond well to challenges based on differentiating teaching. I understand that every scholar learns differently and I am more than willing to adapt to methods of teaching that best work for the benefit of a child's learning.
