Hello! I am currently an engineer with 3 years of experience working in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. I have a Bachelor's of Science in Chemical Engineering with a Biology minor from the University of Alabama. I previously studied music for about 15 years with the intent to obtain a degree in Music Performance on Flute and Piccolo, but decided to pivot to engineering. I currently work heavily in AutoCAD Plant 3D, TrackWise, and Excel where I frequently host group tutorials for coworkers and team members to learn the programs. I have a wide variety of knowledge that I would like to share with my community so other's may succeed as well!
In languages, I exceled in Latin for four years in high school, including two years of International Baccalaureate (IB) classes, and continued with a semester in college. I have an excellent fundamental understanding of the language and would love to help others find a passion for Latin in the way I was able to.
In music, I have been playing the flute for a little over 15 years, piccolo for 5 years, with 5 years of private, collegiate level lessons. I am extremely passionate about music and believe that technique can always be improved as long as a student has the discipline to succeed. I have a moderate library of pieces and technique books that I can tailor to an individual student's specific needs.
In math and sciences, I obtained a Chemical Engineering degree and a Biology minor, which I currently use for my full-time employment. I have a passion for microbiology and chemistry, and currently work in the engineering field. I exceled throughout my schooling in these fields and would love to help others succeed as well.

I was a cheerleading captain for 3 years and competed on an All-Star cheer team for two years. I transitioned to Ballroom Dancing in college, where I competed locally around the Southeast. With a minor in biology, I have a passion for biologic systems and how they contribute to physical fitness. I frequent the gym and love to participate in low impact, beginner friendly workouts to make gradual fitness improvements to my life.
Flute

Flute

I am a musician with extensive expertise in flute and piccolo and a solid fundamental understanding of music theory. I have studied music for 15 years and continue to learn and improve my technique daily. I have strong fundamentals in articulation, scales, and musical expression. I was formerly a collegiate musician and had the opportunity to gain experience preparing portfolios for collegiate auditions. For my achievements, I performed in both All-State and All-Nationals during my high school music career on Flute and Piccolo, earning first flute, first chair multiple years in a row on a state-level. I was admitted into collegiate music performance studies before switching majors to engineering, but was enrolled in the program for my freshman year.
