Upon entry into graduate school, I was awarded a teaching fellowship in music theory and proceeded to teach music theory classes for music majors and minors for seven years.
I love to teach. As a teacher, I live for that Aha! moment that my students have when a concept finally clicks. My entire approach in teaching is centered on helping students not only achieve their goals, but to surpass what they thought they were capable of. I am encouraging, patient, lively, and fun!
