Throughout my education, I’ve excelled in English and mathematics courses, and I’ve consistently used my skills to help classmates and peers better understand complex concepts. My college experience has not only strengthened my academic abilities but also sharpened my communication skills, allowing me to explain ideas in ways that make sense to different types of learners.
My teaching experience includes working one-on-one with K-12 and college students in both formal and informal settings. I have tutored children in subjects like reading, writing, math, and science by using engaging, student-centered methods that encourage participation and boost confidence. My approach is always tailored to each student’s learning style and pace. As a mother of two young children, I am also very comfortable working with younger learners and have developed the patience and creativity needed to keep them focused and motivated. Whether I’m helping a student catch up, improve a skill, or get ahead, I strive to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and growing.
