Algebra & Accounting bring anxiety. My goal is to lower the student's stress level while breaking down the lessons in a way that makes it understandable for them. I allow the student to demonstrate their understanding and their ability to do the work. If they don't, I explain in another way.

Patient and knows what she is doing
Falana has been my tutor for teaching me Accounting 2304 this fall semester. What I liked about her teaching methods are a few things; she guides you on how to find information relating to the topic of the question (so that you feel more comfortable when working on your own), she points out key words/phrases that help you understand what you are looking for, and she is familiar with how MgGraw Hill connect works and how assignments are set up (based on what your teacher/professor has allowed). Falana is patient and will find new ways of explaining what you have trouble understanding, will work off of what you need her help on. She respects your time by telling you honestly if there is a problem she cannot help to solve properly or in the way you need within the time you have with her, and will try working around your schedule if needed. She has helped me to achieve my goals of completing my assignments with a good understanding of the material before turning them in.

Falana is great at explaining Excel, and encourages you to utilize what’s she’s teaching along the way. I’m an adult learner working towards my graduate degree, and she definitely understands my struggles, while trying to comprehend something new. I plan to schedule with her again!

Helpful and Knowledgeable
I highly recommend Falana she was able to help me with a last-minute review of Accounting 1 to prepare for my final exam. She was able to go over problems I was having trouble with and showed me that I just needed to slow down and take time with completing problems to avoid mistakes. I did really well on the exam after the tutoring session.

We have been meeting with Falana now for about a month. She is a wonderful tutor and very patient with my daughter. Great Tutor
We have been meeting with Falana to gain confidence and knowledge dealing with Algebra. Falana is a excellent tutor, she has the patience to help children get through the toughest assignments. When we first found Falana my granddaughter was so stressed with her homework assignments the school was going to move her out of pre-algebra. My granddaughter is doing so well now, she has the desire to keep going. If you are looking for a tutor, you can't go wrong. Wonderful person, very helpful.
