I have a background in most major denominations. I was raised Episcopalian, transferred to United Methodist and went through candidacy for a license in ministry. However, due to certain circumstances within geography and the economy in 2008, I turned down acceptance to Asbury and Duke Theological Seminaries to attend Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. I am an ordained (SBC) and licensed pastor, have also counseled for years in substance abuse, as well as, am currently awaiting acceptance for a Ph.D. in evangelism at Southern Seminary.
My upbringing in New York and denominational (religious-mutt) variances allow me to understand and teach theology through each one's strength and weakness. I hold an M.A. in Theology and Masters in Divinity, graduating with distinction (3.91 GPA) in both. I also serve currently as a hospice chaplain.
I am happily married, 40 years old, and have wonderful children, 18,17, and 4.
