Retired Spanish and French teacher still involved in teaching

I began teaching Spanish in 1975 in Charleston, SC. When I moved to NC, I began to study for a minor in French also. I continued to teach both languages until I retired. I am still involved in teaching by substituting for Spanish and French teachers at the private school I retired from.

I have always loved languages, and I want learning to be exciting for the students, and not a chore. I have traveled extensively in both Spanish and French speaking countries.

I have a love of seeing the thrill of learning another language besides English. I have a degree in Spanish Education and a Minor in French.

I believe that learning should be fun, even while challenging at times. I have over 40 years of experience and I continue to teach and learn every day. I believe learning never stops!
