I am an experienced educator with a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a strong passion for helping children grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I have worked with students from Pre-K through elementary age, including those with special needs, in both classroom and one-on-one settings. My teaching experience includes public school classrooms, early intervention programs, and substitute teaching roles, where I’ve focused on building foundational skills in literacy, math, and communication. I approach every child with patience, care, and a belief that all students can learn when supported in the right way.

In my teaching and tutoring, I use structured, evidence-based strategies tailored to each child’s learning style. I emphasize clear communication, consistent routines, and interactive activities to keep students engaged. I’ve successfully helped students improve their reading fluency, early writing, number sense, and confidence in learning. I am also comfortable supporting students with IEPs or developmental delays and believe in celebrating small wins along the way.

Beyond academics, I bring a unique perspective as a former track and field athlete. I competed at the high school, college, and international levels and earned a full athletic scholarship through my dedication and hard work. I use the discipline, motivation, and resilience I learned through sports to inspire my students both in and out of the classroom. My goal is always to encourage confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning that stays with students long after the lesson ends.

Common Core

I hold a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and have several years of experience teaching and supporting students from Pre-K through elementary levels. I’ve worked with diverse learners, including children with special needs, in both classroom and one-on-one settings. My focus is on building strong foundations in reading, writing, math, and social-emotional development through engaging, structured lessons. I also bring a background as a competitive track athlete and coach, which allows me to mentor students in discipline, goal-setting, and perseverance.
Fitness

Fitness

I have a strong background in fitness through my years as a competitive track and field athlete at the high school, collegiate, and international levels. I help young athletes build strength, improve technique, and gain confidence through movement. My experience includes coaching youth ages 8–13, focusing on endurance, form, and personal growth. I believe fitness should be fun, empowering, and a lifelong habit for health and well-being.
Soccer

Soccer

I’ve played soccer throughout my school years, from primary to college level, developing strong skills and a deep love for the game. My dedication and performance led to me being selected for the Bermuda national team, where I played for a year. Being part of a national team taught me discipline, teamwork, and the importance of representing my country with pride. Now, I enjoy sharing that experience by helping young players grow in skill and confidence on the field.
Tennis

Tennis

I coach youth tennis at MTA Tennis Academy in Bermuda, helping players build strong fundamentals, confidence, and a love for the game. I work with kids on improving their technique, footwork, and match strategy in a fun and encouraging environment. My focus is on developing both skills and discipline while keeping practices age-appropriate and engaging. I enjoy watching my players grow on and off the court through the values tennis teaches.
Track & Field

Track & Field

I hold a Master’s in Early Childhood Education and have competed in track at high school, college, and international levels. I understand the tough qualifying standards for prestigious events like the CARIFTA Games, where only the top athletes per event and age group represent their country by meeting strict performance marks. I coach Girls Club track athletes ages 8–13, focusing on skill-building and personal throwing techniques. My athletic and coaching experience has taught me discipline and perseverance, which I bring to mentoring students academically and in sports. My dream is to become a P.E. teacher and share my love of sports while helping young people stay active and healthy.
Volleyball

I’ve played volleyball competitively and enjoy helping young athletes develop their skills on the court. I focus on teaching proper technique, teamwork, and game awareness in a fun and supportive way. Coaching allows me to pass on my passion for the sport while building players' confidence and love for the game.
