I am a middle school teacher with a background in both English Language Arts and Social Studies. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in education and am licensed to teach at the middle school level. My training has focused on supporting students in reading comprehension, writing development, and critical thinking skills across content areas.
I have several years of classroom teaching experience working with middle school students (grades 6–8) in both ELA and Social Studies. In my classroom, I regularly support a wide range of learners, including students who need help building foundational skills as well as those working to improve organization, writing structure, and overall academic confidence. I also have experience providing one-on-one support and small group instruction, which allows me to tailor lessons to each student’s needs.
My approach to tutoring is practical, supportive, and focused on results. I break down assignments into manageable steps, help students strengthen their writing and reading strategies, and provide clear feedback they can apply independently. I also focus on helping students stay organized and on track with their schoolwork, which is often a major source of stress for both students and parents.
I primarily work with middle school students and offer support with essay writing, reading comprehension, homework help, and general study skills. My goal is to not only improve grades, but also help students feel more confident and capable in their work.
