As a certified K-6 Elementary Education instructor with a specialization in improving student reading comprehension, I bring over 10 years of experience to the table. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Science. My approach is structured and results-oriented, focusing on planning, assessments, and the creation of quality lessons that are engaging, intentional, and rigorous.
I have taught in the public school system for over 7 years, specifically in upper elementary. My students have excelled in both class and state assessments. In 2022 and 2023, I was recognized as being among the top 25% of performing teachers in the state of North Carolina.
In addition to reading, I also teach essential math skills and technology skills for beginners on Microsoft and Google platforms. I am passionate about what I do and look forward to providing your child with the high-quality tutoring services they deserve.
