I am a practicing electrical engineer with a strong academic and professional background in both hardware and software. I am currently pursuing my graduate studies in Electrical and Computer Engineering through NC State’s Engineering Online program, and I hold a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Over the past several years I have worked with microcontrollers, embedded systems, PCB design, and VLSI coursework, giving me a well-rounded foundation in both practical and theoretical concepts. This combination of real-world industry work and ongoing academic training allows me to bring current, relevant knowledge into my tutoring sessions.

My tutoring approach is centered on breaking down complex ideas into simple, understandable steps. I know from experience that students often struggle not with intelligence, but with how concepts are presented. I focus on building intuition first, then reinforcing it with examples, problem-solving, and hands-on practice. For subjects like circuits, programming in C, FPGA/Verilog, and embedded systems, I incorporate real-world applications to show why the concepts matter. I also encourage students to ask questions freely and think critically, as this builds confidence and independence over time.

I have worked with undergraduate engineering students, high school learners preparing for STEM majors, and peers in collaborative study groups. These experiences taught me to adapt my explanations to different learning levels and to remain patient while guiding students through challenging material. Whether helping with a specific assignment, preparing for an exam, or building long-term skills, my goal is to ensure that students not only succeed in the short term but also develop a deeper understanding that will carry them forward in their studies and careers.
