Hello,

I am a PT Communications & Marketing professional with a love of teaching and tutoring. I hold a B.A. from Mercer University (2003) and a M.A. from University of Georgia (2006) and earned a 3.9 cumulative GPA during my undergraduate and graduate career. I was selected as an English and composition teacher assistant/preceptor at Mercer University to help mentor and tutor students in the First Year Experience course at Mercer. In addition, I earned a graduate teaching assistantship at the University of Georgia, serving as the teaching assistant and classroom manager of more than 230 students. During that time, I held regular office hours to help assist students with their learning needs.

I have served as a volunteer tutor from high school through my professional life, including part-time tutoring at Sylvan Learning Center.

I am qualified to teach any subject K-6, and high school or college-level courses in English, grammar, composition, literature, communications, public speaking, journalism, marketing and public relations.

I live in the Huntersville area, but I am open to tutoring in Cornelius, Davidson, Lake Norman and north Charlotte areas.
