Visual Artist, Teacher and Tutor, Pamela grew up in Neenah, Wisconsin. She arrived in New Orleans in 1977 and graduated from Tulane University, Magna Cum Laude, with a BFA from Sophie Newcomb Art Department in 1980.

Upon graduation, she received the annual art award and a recommendation to teach at Metairie Park Country Day School. The inspiration for her artworks and teaching came from her experience in the Healing Arts.
