I am a proud Chicago native. In 2009 I graduated with an Associate of Arts degree in Networking Systems Administration from DeVry University- Chicago. Four years later in 2013, I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English from Fisk University located in Nashville, Tennessee.
In the fall of 2014, I began matriculating in Clark Atlanta University’s African American Studies program where I received a Master of Arts degree in African American Studies from Clark Atlanta University in May of 2016. I have worked as a substitute teacher in the Chicago Public School system, and made a difference in several of the children’s lives whom I encountered. I’m naturally a writer so I knew that I wanted to give back through my writing. I am a former freelance writer for the Chicago Defender newspaper, and I loved the experience. I aspire to help all students improve their writing skills, and create clear and concise writing pieces.
I am a published writer so I know what it takes to improve your writing. I have thorough knowledge in persuasive, expository, and informative, and journalistic writing skills. I know all grammar rules regarding the English language.
Scholars, if you need help becoming a better writer, please contact me. I look forward to working with you and polishing up those writing skills!
