Here's a little bit about me! I have a Master's in Physics and a Master of Arts in Teaching and I've been in either teaching or curriculum for over 20 years. I have 5 years of experience teaching college-level physics + an additional 2 years experience teaching enrichment physics classes at the middle school level. In my current curriculum role, I have background at all levels across K-8 + HS.
I have taught in a classroom setting in the public school system and community college system and tutored one-on-one. My focus is not just on content mastery, but problem-solving approach and making the kinds of connections that students can use moving forward to solve novel problems on their own. I emphasize techniques and strategies that are applicable across problems, and I'm skilled at chunking problems into solvable steps.
