I am an experienced STEM educator with 15+ years teaching Math, Chemistry, and Biology at a private college preparatory school and an Early Middle College in Greensboro, NC. I am an experienced STEM educator with 15+ years teaching Math, Chemistry, and Biology at a private college preparatory school and an Early Middle College in Greensboro, NC. My school has achieved the EVASS greatest student growth for consecutive years, and I have helped over 95% of my students pass EOC, State, and District exams.

Previously, I worked as a University Lecturer for 6.5 years, teaching General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Instrumental Analysis, and Analytical Chemistry to Chemistry, Biology, and Pharmacy majors. I also have research experience in Environmental Chemistry.

Really great tutor!

My daughter who is a 9-grader was panicking a night before a chem test. We booked a session with Samuel, who helped her a lot. Samuel’s teaching style is a great fit for her. The explanation is clear and systematic. Samuel is also such a nice person. All around it was a great success. My daughter just reported back that she got an A-. This never happened before. Great tutor for Chem

Samuel has been fantastic in helping my daughter with Chemistry. She juat started with him at the end of this school year and wishes she had started sooner! He explains things in a very clear way and is super communicative after lessons, summarizing what they worked on. She got an A on her last test and is now prepping for her final exam with him. Patient and Knowledgeable Calculus Tutor

Samuel helped me a lot with my calculus problems. He was very understanding, explained everything clearly, and was extremely patient throughout the session. He helped me review antiderivatives, definite integrals, the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus, u-substitution, and other calculus topics I was struggling with. One thing I really liked about his tutoring was that he would stop and ask if I understood what was going on and whether I had any questions before moving forward. That made the material feel less overwhelming and helped me feel more comfortable asking for clarification. As a university student, I was having a hard time understanding calculus, but after working with Samuel, the problems felt much easier to follow. He broke everything down step by step and made the material feel more manageable. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs help with calculus.
