I am an experienced STEM educator with 15+ years teaching Math, Chemistry, and Biology at a private college preparatory school and an Early Middle College in Greensboro, NC. Amazing Tutor…very patient and diligent!

So far my son has had multiple sessions with Samuel to help him prepare for his Algebra 2 exam. Samuel has helped tremendously! We have used several other tutors but Samuel is the first one that has been able to actually break down the Algebra in a way that my son now truly understands how to actually do it himself. Other tutors kind of just do the work themselves to demonstrate but Samuel actually TEACHES how to do the work!! My son also has some Chem. sessions booked with Samuel to prepare for his upcoming Final Chem exam.

Excellent Chemistry Tutor

I scheduled 5 sessions with Sam to help my daughter prepare for her Honors Chemistry final. My daughter has struggled to keep up with the materials in this fast paced class. She has ADHD and has a hard time with the teacher’s lecture style, but Sam was able to efficiently review the materials and build her confidence in tackling problems. Sam was very patient and took the time to make sure she was understanding each step. She found him engaging and friendly. We are glad to know we have him as a resource for next years AP pre calculus class.

Kind and Effective Tutor

Samuel taught my son how to succeed with Geometry! My son came to Samuel with very low confidence and poor math skills. I honestly could not believe the magic Samuel was able to work with my son: improved confidence, high-quality schoolwork and (the final proof) an excellent grade on a math exam! Samuel's very gentle yet persistent approach worked really well with my son. I loved listening to the two of them collaborate because my son was so engaged and actively participating -- something we hadn't witnessed in him previously. Great tutor for Chem

Samuel has been fantastic in helping my daughter with Chemistry. She juat started with him at the end of this school year and wishes she had started sooner! He explains things in a very clear way and is super communicative after lessons, summarizing what they worked on. She got an A on her last test and is now prepping for her final exam with him.
