I have 24 years of experience, teaching on level, honors and AP chemistry as well as physical science. In the classroom, I use hands on activities to enhance the learning experience. I also have experience teaching general college chemistry. I have also tutored for ACT science for 10 years, as many students are not taught how to draw or read graphs and tables of scientific data. I have been teaching chemistry for 16 years, college prep as well as honors and advanced placement classes. All of my students in the past year have passed the NCDPI chemistry subject test. I have a variety of methods to assist any level of student for success in chemistry.
Physical Science

Physical Science

I have been teaching physical science for 7 years. The level of student varies and often students do not speech English well, have math problems or have learning disabilities. I have a variety of successful methods for tutoring any level of student.
SAT Math

SAT Math

I teach chemistry, which entails a great deal of math. The type of math matches the concepts often tested in the SAT math and the ACT science sections. I bring a more practical aspect to the test preparation, as opposed to the use of memorization.
