Hello future students! French is not only my first language but also my passion. I have been tutoring college students at High Point University, mostly aged 18-22, for several years. I served as the secretary of the French Club for two years, which helped me to connect with students who are new to the language and might feel intimidated. Due to my fluency, I received college credit without needing to take the class. In high school, I completed all four levels of French classes to improve my reading and writing skills, which has enabled me to better support a variety of students.
I participated in language-related events and trips that allowed me to immerse myself in the language. My experience has helped me to pinpoint areas where students might need help. I was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo and moved to the United States when I was eight years old. I have continued to use French in my family and at High Point University.
