Business

I have been teaching Business and Marketing courses at the high school level for 13 years. Prior to this, while pursuing my degree, I worked in HR and Payroll at a Nursing Home and a local Retail store. I was also Head of Marketing for Dining Services at a local college.

Career Development

During my years of teaching Business and Marketing courses at the high school level, it was part of my curriculum to teach students about career research and what steps needed to be taken for them to atain their career goals. I also served as a mentor to my homeroom students each year in guiding them in their decision making process on which courses to take during high school that would allow them to explore career interests. I would also help students in the research of post-secondary options for their specific career choices, whether that was the workforce, college, or military.

Computer Science

I have been teaching Business and Marketing Education courses for 13 years. I was asked by my students and school administration to complete the training for teaching Computer Science and have been teaching AP Computer Science Principles, AP Computer Science A, and Pythin Programming for more than five years. I have taught these courses face to face and virtually with great success.

Desktop Publishing

I taught a desktop publishing course at the high school level for several years using the Adobe Suite and HTML. I also have some freelance experience in creating webpages and logos using several different programs depending on what the customer wanted in their final product.

Graphic Design

I have taught several courses using Desktop Publishing software and Canva to create Graphic Design elements including web design and logos. I have also worked on freelance assignments creating landing pages, logos, etc. for different company projects.

Information Technology

My degree concentration was in Business and Marketing Education. My Minor concentrations was Information Technology. I have been teaching for 13 years including courses in Information Technology such as CompTIA and AP Computer Science Principles.

Marketing

I have 13 years experience of teaching business and Marketing courses at the high school level. I also have marketing experience as a freelancer creating multiple video series for a well known investment group. I was a marketing manager for the dining services of a local college as well. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Marketing Education.

Microsoft 365

I have been teaching Certification courses at the high school level in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Publisher. I am also certified to teach Excel and Access. I have approximately 15 years of experience in using Outlook and experience using OneDrive and Teams since their creation.

Microsoft Publisher

I have been teaching Business and Marketing courses at the high school level for 13 years. During that time I taught a Certification course on Microsoft Publisher. This course focused specifically on how to use Publisher to create a multitude of documents and design creations.
