I am 1997 graduate of Vance Granville Community College where I receive my AAS degree in early childhood education. I continued my education at North Carolina Central University where I graduated magna cum laude and received my BS in Family Consumer Science Child Development. In the spring I plan to attend North Carolina State to work on my Master's in Family and Youth Development.
Though I'm new to WyzAnt, I have 20 years of experience teaching children ages birth to five. This is my area of specialty. I have also worked with school age children and children with special needs for over 20 years. As an advocate of early learning I believe that all children can learn and as a teacher it is our responsibility to find out how children learn and adapt our teaching methods of how children learn. It is my belief that all children should have an individual education plan Above all I enjoy seeing the light bulb come on and a child excited about learning!
