I cannot begin to express just how amazing a tutor Katy has been! I took my NCLEX exam for the first time in March and did not pass. After a couple of months of trying to get myself back on track, I found Wyzant and immediately noticed Katy's page at the front of the line with glowing reviews. I came into our first lesson nervous and dejected from my previous experience, but Katy's patience with me and my knowledge gaps, and her kindness and knowledge and insight quickly helped me to realize I knew more than I had let myself think I did. The way she was able to take what I knew, fill in the gaps, and explain all the different aspects of what I needed to know in ways that made sense was beyond phenomenal. Her bank of knowledge across the entirety of nursing was honestly amazing. More often than not, she was able to provide some real-world examples to help drive certain concepts home, which I personally found helpful in understanding certain concepts and then being able to remember them and apply towards whatever questions I would be working on. She truly understands how to reach you with whatever your learning style may be and can make concepts feel so much easier and less complicated to learn and understand on such a fundamental level! I had a really great experience with my tutor. She was very patient and took the time to break things down in a way that actually made sense to me.
