I have been homeschooling children for 10 years! I recently received my bachelor's degree online in business management, because I believe that learning is such an important part of life! I have taught Pre-K through 5th grade in the past 10years, and occasionally I tutor young adults in math, grammar, and job readiness to help prepare them with the basic skills needed for jobs. I have taught in a classroom setting, one-on-one, and online, which is how I prefer to tutor. I have always loved math. From elementary school through college, math has always been my favorite courses to take and the easiest for me to master. Let's just say, math comes naturally to me. I enjoy teaching math with real life examples, so that students can understand how different math skills can be applied to everyday life. I also love teaching students how to work out math problems and show their work so that they can spot any errors that may occur. I am also excited to be teaching elementary language arts, or grammar. I am huge on "professionalism," and I believe the way we speak and write impacts us hugely in life. Because of my beliefs, I am eager to help students understand the correct way to word their sentences, and the why behind it. I also enjoy teaching them so that reading and writing will become an easy and exciting task for them and looked at as more of a journey than a burden.
