For my teaching experiences, I have served as a tutor with Upward Bound for over 2 years, mostly working with high school students. I made sure they focus their school work, their set goals, and maintaining a high grade point average. I have also taught as a graduate teaching assistant at Appalachian State University and East Carolina University for over 5 years with emphasis on basic biology and microbiology. I also have 1 semester of teaching chemistry and physical science at a high school.
I have taught science for over 10 years including being a tutor with Upward Bound for over 3 years. I have taught high school level all the way to college level.
When I am your tutor, my goal is to make you understand the concepts and theories of the science subjects you are facing in your studies. Not just plain memorization, but learning to apply the concepts/theories to other future studies in the science or other fields.
