I hold a MS in Applied Physics and have taught two Calculus classes at a local community college. I also tutored while I was in college, and now I enjoy tutoring on the side. I'm extremely well-versed in the subjects I indeed tutor on Wyzant.

I've always enjoyed and been fascinated by mathematics. I recall clearly first learning to subtract and then multiply. As a child, I would multiply 15 digit number together just because I could.

Math has always come second nature to me, and I have never really taken notes. Only the highest levels of collegiate mathematics stretched me enough that I needed to write anything down.

When I read a book, it's generally mathematics related. I create math quizzes at work for others to try, but sadly few people enjoy mathematics the way I do. If you're looking for someone passionate and able to grasp mathematics, look no further.

Physics was my declared major from freshman day 1 in college and I never changed it. I had a great experience in high school with physics and never looked back. Perhaps I enjoy the mathematics aspect of physics as it is just applied mathematics, but the tie to the real world is amazing. Physics can describe everything that occurs in our reality.

I have programmed in one way or another since around 1997. Beginning with the TI-82 calculator's minimalistic programming interface and instructions, I quickly found that I had a knack and love for programming. After C, C++, and a few other languages, I ended up using VB6 in many physics courses. After the courses were complete, I was unsatisfied with what I had learned so I dug deeper. I t

C#

C#

C#.NET really isn't that different from VB.NET. I consider myself a high-level master in VB and have completed several projects in C#. Namely, several web applications, and some image processing software.
Calculus

Calculus

I was the only person in the history of my high school to skip precalculus and go straight to calculus (I had bad advice and signed up for Alg II instead of Precalc). I obtained a 5 on the AP test. I took Calc II and Calc II my freshman year at ASU - enjoyable. I was 60% through an MA at ECU in math, but changed jobs and had to quit. 4.0 for all of my graduate career. I have also taught calculus classes at a local community college.
Computer Programming

Computer Programming

I have been programming since around 1997. I program constantly, at home and at work. I know a plethora of computer programming languages.
General Computer

General Computer

Max speed of 116. Taught myself to type and have worked with computers my whole life.
Guitar

Guitar

I have been playing guitar since Oct 31, 1999. I can play almost any song i like save the super fast ones. I have several videos on youtube. If you are interested in seeing them, please contact me and I will share the links.
Microsoft Excel

Microsoft Excel

Whenever there are Excel issues, particularly with VBA/macros, I am always the go-to individual. I have used excel since the 95 edition. I've learned VBA along with my VB6 and .NET experience. I have taught excel classes are multiple work locations.
Physics

Physics

I've enjoyed physics and math since high school. I took both physics and AP physics in high school; I obtained a 4 on the AP test. My degree is an MS in Applied Physics (engineering based). I have tutored physics in college.
Precalculus

Precalculus

I skipped precalculus by taking a placement test. I found the test refreshing but not particularly challenging. I did not prep for any test that I took on here and have passed them all so far.
SQL

Visual Basic

Visual Basic

I have programmed in VB since 2003 from VB6 up to VB.NET 2015. i have created my own CNC machine writing all the code from complete scratch using a Mitsubishi FX3U PLC and custom VB.NET code. I have used VB for a multitude of functions including RS232/ethernet communication, custom classes, DLLs, windows API, ActiveX objects, A/D, registry, audio processing, FFT, etc.
