Throughout my educational, military, and private sector careers, I have found that learning is amplified and developed best when taught well. I learned more from those who clearly invested their time and effort to reaching the students "where they are."
I have long held a desire to teach and have taken every opportunity to train others whenever they presented themselves. This includes helping my 4 children in their studies, teaching classes at my church, or training colleagues where I work. This desire brought me to Wyzant to reach out to others seeking knowledge and educational growth and where my experience can not only provide the "book learning" required of students, but also real life examples where these principles can be applied successfully to increase understanding and depth of knowledge.
Numbers! I thoroughly enjoy math and related subjects and the fact that there is one answer, but often many ways to get there. I realize that different people have different learning styles and approaches to working math's puzzles. I look to patiently work with you (and your parents/caregivers, if needed) to find what works best for you. I will work to do what it takes to benefit you as much as possible.
