Hello! My name is Ian. I am a graduate of North Carolina A&T State University. I received my bachelor's degree in History. I have three years of teaching. I started teaching as a history teacher. My students included elementary, middle, and high school students. Then I started teaching as an Exceptional Children teacher, helping students with special needs reach their IEP (individual education goals) in math and English. As an EC teacher, my students also included elementary, middle, and high school students. I love tutoring because I'm a product of good tutoring. Tutoring is like a GPS when we get lost. Providing guidance and education is a true joy, especially when I can see the joy of my students when their hard work pays off.
My experience as an EC teacher has lead me to teach math to students ranging from 2nd grade to 12th grade ranging in a myriad of math subjects.
As a history and EC teacher, I have experience with assisting students in both spelling, grammar, and vocabulary across elementary, middle, and high school.
