I am a college student at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a graduate of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme. Throughout high school, I maintained a 4.3 GPA while excelling in advanced Math and English courses, including AP Calculus BC, IB Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches HL, Pre-Calculus Honors, AP Statistics, and IB English HL. These courses strengthened my analytical reasoning, problem-solving, and communication skills, allowing me to approach both mathematical and written concepts with confidence and clarity.

I have over three years of tutoring experience through my school’s Learning Hub, where I worked one-on-one and in small groups with students across a range of skill levels. I primarily tutored high school students in Math 1–4, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus, as well as supported peers in essay writing and research projects. My tutoring method focuses on understanding over memorization—I take time to explain the “why” behind each concept, break down problems step-by-step, and encourage independent thinking so students can apply their knowledge confidently.

Beyond academic growth, I aim to build confidence and consistency in every student I work with. I believe that learning is most effective when students feel supported and capable, and I tailor each session to their unique pace and style. Whether helping someone simplify calculus problems or refine an essay for clarity and tone, I’m dedicated to helping students reach their full potential through patience, structure, and enthusiasm for learning.
